How will I know what's going on each day on the ship? --Hannah, Phoenix, AZ
-----
Each day you will receive an activity/information sheet delivered to your stateroom. The layout varies cruise line to cruise line, of course, but it will tell you where the ship is that day (at sea or a port of call), the dress code for dinner (casual, semi-formal, or formal), and details about the shipboard events and activities for the day, including when and where various activities will take place. This handy little sheet is your go-to guide for shipboard activities. Remember cruises are more than buffets and pools!

Sea Sickness
I sometimes get motion sickness in the car. Should I worry about sea sickness on my cruise? --Stephanie, Clarksville, TN
-----
Getting motion sickness in a car is different from being on a cruise ship and getting sea sickness. Sometimes people who get motion sickness easily find that on a cruise ship, they don't even feel the movement of the ship! The cruise ships have stabilizers that help keep everything balanced while the ship is on the ocean.
In case you feel some motion, I would recommend taking some motion sickness medication or patches on the cruise with you just in case. These items are also usually available for purchase on the ship. You wouldn't want to feel sick on your vacation! Usually, though, you just need to give yourself a little bit of time to get used to the slight movement your body feels, also known as getting your "sea legs."
